Short bio:

Hi there! My name is Rachel and I'm a 30-something mama to two crazy kiddos and one dog. I have been immersed in the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum world since 2017 and had two amazing doula-attended births of my own. I decided to take the plunge into doula work in 2021.

I've seen firsthand what it's like to have long and difficult labors, challenging physical and/or emotional recoveries in the postpartum period, and just about every breastfeeding struggle in the book. It is my hope that the skills I've learned in finding good help and working to identify solutions that aid both Mama AND Baby in equal measure can help other families. My family and I are based in south Charlotte, but I serve a one hour radius from my home. I hope we will have the opportunity to meet soon!

Description of services offered:

As a doula, my role is to provide your family with physical, emotional, and informational support on your journey through pregnancy and especially in labor and delivery and to empower YOU to make the decisions YOU think are best for your body and your baby. I offer a variety of packages to suit your budget and needs, all of which can be viewed on my website! I can assist you in your prenatal, labor and delivery at home or at an area hospital, and postpartum journeys.

Areas/hospitals served:

I serve families within an hour of south Charlotte at home or in a hospital setting. Wherever you want to birth, I'll be there.
