Bio: Hi, my name is Nicole Hunter and my love for everything birth and babies began at an early age and has been growing ever since. It was intensified after the birth of my oldest son did not go as planned, resulting in an induction and cesarean section. My second birth was followed by a very rocky postpartum period that wasn’t realized until years later. I have always been passionate about helping people, but after having children that passion became focused on mothers and families.

I unofficially “doula-ed” for 9 years before becoming a trained and certified birth, postpartum, and newborn doula. After my initial training, I yearned for so much more knowledge and trained as Hypnobabies® Hypno-Doula, certified placenta encapsulation specialist, certified in CPR and First Aid, and I continue to train in other childbirth related areas. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling in my spare time. I am excited and honored to provide unforgettable experiences to women and their families.

I support individuals and families in hospitals, birth centers, and private homes in medicated, unmedicated, VBAC, cesarean, and high risk births. I also provide prenatal support including birth preparation, comfort measures for labor, formulating a birth plan, newborn care, hospital bag advisement, breastfeeding information, nursery/home staging, baby registry assistance, and more.
